AM I INVITED TO THE RECEPTION AND THE DAY-AFTER PARTY?

YES. You've sacrificed a lot to journey through the north woods, we want to make it worth your trip! Your invitation includes all Friday and Saturday events -- a tissue at the ceremony, a seat at the reception dinner, and a ticket into the Day-After Party bags tournament.
WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE FOR THE DAY-AFTER PARTY?

CASUAL! Weather depending, the bride and groom plan to wear jeans and tees. Bring layers to account for any changes in temperature.
CAN I BRING MY KIDS?

Unless specified in your invitation, this is an adults-only event. We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off!
WHAT DOES "DRESSY CASUAL" MEAN?

Find your balance between work clothes and cocktail attire. Think an evening graduation or garden party, an up-scale birthday dinner, or if Easter was in the fall. Dress according to the weather, including layers and shoes you can confidently strut through grass in.
IS THE WEDDING INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?

Our wedding ceremony will be held outdoors to embrace the stunning views of the North woods. Following the ceremony, the reception will take place in a tent just steps away.
WHAT WILL THE WEATHER BE LIKE?

No, it will not be snowing and -20. With an average high of 74°F and a low of 52°F, it generally feels mildly cool with a gentle breeze. Consider bringing layers for later in the evening.

HOW WILL I GET TO AND FROM THE WEDDING?

While deer are more populous than Ubers in Bigfork, we want all guests to enjoy themselves knowing they have a safe ride home. Group transportation will be available for both Friday and Saturday events for local hotels, resorts, and air bnbs. Information about the bus schedule will be provided to you upon your arrival. Shuttles are only for local lodging to the Voltarel's. At this time, we cannot provide transportation for guests staying in Grand Rapids, or for trips to and from the airport.
WHAT AIRPORT SHOULD I FLY INTO?

There are a few airport options that bring you close to Bigfork. Hibbing, MN provides the closest option, about a 0:45 drive away. Hibbing is only served by Delta Airlines with daily flights to and from Minneapolis. Duluth, MN serves as an alternate option, roughly a 2:00 drive from Bigfork. Duluth has daily flights to and from Chicago (ORD) with United Airlines as well as Minneapolis with Delta Airlines. Minneapolis Airport is a 3:45 drive from Bigfork, but offers the most flexibility in airlines and flight schedules. Regardless of how you choose to travel, we want to help make your trip as effortless as possible so please don't be afraid to reach out if you have any questions!
IS THERE PARKING AT THE WEDDING VENUE?

The Voltarel's cabin (the venue for Friday and Saturday events) has ample grass parking, should you choose to drive.
